Toppings To Make Your Drink That Much More Special

Of course, Tapioca pearls ($0.50) are always a topping option, as they’re one of the main staples of boba tea!

If Tapioca isn’t your thing, choose Jelly Boba ($0.75) instead. The jellies are made from coconut meat and have a slight coconut taste with a unique fruit flavor. The jellies are a bit softer and will add an extraordinary taste to the drink.

Next is Aloe ($0.50). Aloe vera is high in minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and fatty acids. It can help with digestion or boost your immune system, along with many other benefits, so give it a shot!

You can also choose between our three flavors of popping boba including yogurt, mango, and strawberry options ($0.75). Popping boba is a unique and attractive topping for almost any of our drinks. Originating in Asia, Popping boba got their name from when their fruit juice interiors burst when bitten into. They look similar to tapioca boba, except they are much more colorful or filled with fruit juice depending on the flavor chosen.

You can also have Milk Foam added to your tea for $0.50 extra.

Or if you want to sweeten up your drink, try adding Oreo ($0.50) as a topping.

Chia Seeds ($0.50) are another choice. These are the edible seeds of Salvia hispanica, a flowering plant in the mint family native to central and southern Mexico. They contain quercetin, an antioxidant that can reduce your risk of developing several health conditions, such as heart disease. They’re also high in fiber, which can help lower high blood pressure.

A different extra is Tao Jiao ($1). These amber-hued crystals are actually peach gum made from the resin of the Chinese peach tree (Prunus persica). Known to have a variety of health benefits, they’ll make a perfect addition to your drink.

Taro ($0.75) is an additional option. This root vegetable is native to southeastern Asia and offers a very sweet taste, with a slight hint of vanilla.

A final option is Lychee Jelly ($0.50). Lychee Jelly is a jiggly Chinese dessert that's made with coconut water, lychee fruits, and agar-agar.

Drink Temperature

While there are both hot and cold drinks offered at The Whale Tea, for some drinks you’ll have the option to choose between ‘Less Ice’ (Free), ‘No Ice’ ($0.50), or ‘Hot’ ($0.75).

Special Requests

And of course, whether you’re ordering online or in-person, let our employees know if you have special instructions for how you want your tea made and we’ll try to accommodate!
